More on Mister K
I intend to do a bit of a birthday post to explain the Superhero themed festivities, but I am still kinda recovering from the busy weekend. So here is a glimpse of how K has changed throughout his 4 long years of life.

He's 4
Truthfully it is hard to grasp. He was a sweet sweet baby. He was an annoyingly energetic and mischievous toddler (we duct taped him into his diaper each night for almost a year). And now, now he is a charming and quirky preschooler.
He constantly tells me stories about make believe things. These stories often start with "One time when I was six...".
Yesterday in the car he said "See that mountain over there? (Burke Mountain) It is the stinkiest and yuckiest place in the whole world. Dragons live there." and the story went on like that for at least 5 minutes.
This morning he said "Mom, I am Indiana Jones and you are the giant jumping girl (don't ask, I don't really get that part myself). Ya know why? Cause Indiana Jones loves the giant jumping girl!"
Love you too Indie!

a walk by the water just a holding your hand...
10 points if you know what song this title is from. Ok, 50 points, it is pretty obscure.
Here is a few shots of a family walk we took on a rare event called "Nobody has to go to work today kids!"
Brilliant Daddy decided to make 2 paper airplanes to spice up the whole "let's go for a walk and get some exercise" scenario. It got upgraded to "let's throw our planes and chase them down the path over and over until they're soggy". The kids bought it! And it was quite fun!
Sorry for all the superfluous quotes today, just in that kinda mood.
