Tough guys
Another big event in May was the annual guys only camping trip known as Tough Guys that is legendary in my house. What little boy wouldn't want to camp with Dad, Grandad and Uncle and hike and do an obstacle course and get very dirty? I know it is way up there on my boys' list of perfect scenarios. There are a ton of pictures so this post is part one!

boys and shoes
So I broke out a pair we bought on spring break. He wore them once and now they look like this. Yikes.
Speaking of shoes, I guess I need to find sandals for these boys now that it is getting sunny ocasionally.

Friday Party
I can't believe I haven't posted anything here in over a month. Yikes. It might have had something to do with all the days I was working. A and I had just 3 days off together all month. Not a ton of down time. But we did get things done.
Most husbands would not love being left with the kids all their days off. Nor would they willingly take on 2 extra kids on a Friday just for fun. But I guess he likes to live on the wild side. And it was sunny so they played outside. That helps.

All Dressed up...
On a freezing day last week, my sweet sick princess decided to venture outside. She hung out on the deck and had a snack as if it was summer. Oh, and she was wearing a hat and boots that are to be hand-me-downs and her fairy costume from Gram. She's a keeper.
Dolly had a pink tutu on on too. I forgot.

Pop Bottle Science
K got a little kit called Pop Bottle Science for Christmas (thanks Auntie and Uncle!) and we just broke it out a few weeks ago. He loves it. In fact we did the same exact experiment with Mom and Dad on 2 different days, that's how fun it was. There are many more experiments in the book- looking forward to trying out another one!
